New, one-off, original Apple service spare inverter board for the PowerBook 500 series range. This board includes the backlight inverter circuit and the circuitry and micro switches to control the LCD brightness and contrast. Apple would have stopped supplying service spares for this range around 2001 so it is extremely rare that a new one still exists.
